Do you consider applicants who rank Templeton Mini School as their 2nd or 3rd choice?

Yes, we do consider applicants who have indicated another program as their first choice. However, we do give preference to those who have ranked Templeton Mini first.

Can I change my mind about the ranking?

Yes, you may change your choices. In this case, all relevant schools must be notified in one email.

Which report cards must be submitted with the application?
​
We require the grade 6 final report card and grade 7 progress report to be submitted with the application.

What will be on the assessment?
​
The assessment is one hour and consists of a writing component and a math component. Students will be asked to respond to some questions or prompts in the writing component, and answer math questions from a variety of topics.

Can students apply to the program after grade 8?
​
Yes, we consider applications of students who are interested in joining our program after grade 8 if a spot opens up. Please contact Christina Koblbauer (ckoblbauer@vsb.bc.ca) to obtain an application form.
